February 12th - Family Literacy Night

 

Family Literacy Night Kick Off!


Stop by Nisqually Tribal Library as we kick off the Native Youth Reading Challenge and our new, monthly Family Literacy Night. Native youth, their families and relatives are invited to stop by the library on Feb. 12th to sign up for the reading challenge, read stories and do fun activities! Students in kindergarten – 12th grade who sign up will receive free books and be eligible for incentives and prizes throughout the challenge, now through March 31st.


Raffle drawing on Friday, February 14th!


To be eligible for the Feb. 14th raffle, students must sign up on the Beanstack website and enter some reading time there before Friday, Feb. 14th. Sign up at the Library on Feb. 12th or on your own.


How to sign up for the reading challenge:

  1. Sign up on Beanstack and keep track of your reading: https://nyrc.beanstack.com/reader365
  2. Stop by Nisqually Tribal Library on Feb. 12th to sign up and take home free books
